Team Liquid hire former EG coach

Team Liquid has not been performing up to its normal standards in 2022. Outside of regional tournaments, Team Liquid has not had a successful run in any of the bigger tournaments this year.

The benching of Richard "shox" Papillon had been rumored, but the fact that Eric "adreN" Hoag followed him out on the bench came as a surprise. Yesterday night the NA team announced his replacement.

Damian "daps" Steele, who played on Team Liquid in 2015, is now back as a coach on the team. The 28-year-old Canadian coached Evil Geniuses for the last six months of 2021.
