The story of shroud: From CS:GO pro to iconic streamer

Even if only introduced to Counter-Strike in the latest of years you have properly heard the name "shroud" before. The Canadian superstar played under Cloud9 for three years from 2014 to 2017. He quickly became one of the most beloved Counter-Strike players in the scene due to his charismatic personality and phenomenal individual skill.

Alongside his career as a professional CS:GO player "shroud" made a name for himself on the platform of Twitch. On the streaming platform, he began to play a variety of games and was, seemingly, good at every single one of them. Whilst he gained more and more attention on Twitch it didn't come at the cost of his Counter-Strike performance. Take a look at some of the best moments produced by the Canadian superstar:

At the end of 2017 "shroud" decided to resign from his position as a professional CS:GO player at Cloud9 and instead pursue his dream of becoming one of the best streamers in the world. Dominating almost every single game where it was required to place a crosshair on the opponent's head, his individual skill, alongside his calm and charismatic personality made him one of the biggest streamers to exist. Whilst it is unfortunate that he no longer plays professional Counter-Strike he did what he set out to do - he became an iconic streamer on the platform of Twitch. Still to this day, however, it is a joy to see him load up CS:GO and remind everyone why he is known as one of Counter-Strike's greatest aimers of all time.
