Snappi returns to ENCE starting lineup at IEM Winter
The experienced veteran has received the green light to feature in ENCE's matchup against Fnatic later today.
The Finns from ENCE will once again be eligible to play with their in-game leader and captain Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer, the organization confirm on Twitter. Earlier this week, it was informed that the 31-year-old Dane weren’t able to travel with the team to IEM Winter 2021, due to being tested positive for Covid-19.
However, after having presented multiple negative PCR tests, Snappi has travelled to Stockholm where he will join the rest of the team for the rest of the tournament. His first test will be against the Swedes from Fnatic at 13:30 (CET), where he and ENCE will fight for their survival at the $250.000 event.
- I have been able to travel to Sweden today, as my PCR tests started being negative, on top of that I have had 0 symptoms for almost a week. Awaiting the ESL test now praying I won’t get a false positive, Snappi writes on Twitter.
In his absence, Pavle "Maden" Bošković from FunPlus Phoenix played with ENCE in the opening round against Virtus.pro yesterday, where the Russians ended up on top in the BO1 clash.
