It was one-way traffic as Heroic obliterated G2 16-9, 16-4 in the Group A upper final. A world-class performance from in-game leader Casper "cadiaN" Møller paved the way for the Danes to deny G2 their 11th consecutive win on Inferno.
The Danish AWP’er went 24-7 in K-D and won several clutch situations to lead his team to a great win that certainly confirms their bid for the title in Dallas.
In the Group B final it was ENCE vs Nicolai 'device' Reedtz. The star AWP’er delivered two fantastic maps on Overpass and Nuke. It was only enough to win on Overpass, and after Astralis’ overtime loss on Nuke, ENCE took care of business on Mirage seeding them directly for the semi-final.
In the lower brackets of the two groups, it was MOUZ and FaZe that pulled through. After a disappointing 2023 for MOUZ, the fans of the German organization could enjoy their performance against OG winning 16-10, 16-7. David "frozen" Čerňanský went 44-18 on the two maps as the MVP of the match.
In the last match of the day, FaZe qualified for the playoffs by eliminating last year’s winner from Cloud9. Both teams started the match by winning each other’s map picks fairly easily. On Ancient it was a collective effort from FaZe that secured a 16-9 win.
