s1mple before taking on Gambit: I hope we can be their kryptonite
The Ukrainian phenomenon seems confident before the exciting CIS brawl at BLAST Premier Spring Final.
Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev and the rest of Natus Vincere took a big step towards the Grand Final at BLAST Premier Spring Final, when they yesterday defeated the strong Germans from BIG in a confident 2-0 win.
The upper bracket win means that NAVI will meet the current CS:GO rulers and #1 team in the world in Gambit at their next match, which will set up a thrilling and prestigious CIS clash between two of the best teams in the world.
s1mple and company have managed to take down the otherwise dominant Gambit side in the last five maps they’ve played against each other, including a full Grand Final sweep at DH Masters Spring, which is a streak the Ukrainian superstar wishes to continue.
In a post-match interview with the BLAST desk, the 23-year-old AWPer explains that he hopes they can remain the upper hand and maybe “be their kryptonite”.
