Gambit's rise to the Counter-Strike top this year must be one of the most impressive and remarkable stories in recent CS:GO history. Their many achievements this year are only more imposing when you consider it’s only 10 months since the Russian youngsters were promoted to Gambit’s main team, after having played as their academy team for a long time.
The best performer and arguably their brightest star, Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov has been a revelation for the team, with the 19-year-old AWPer being one of the greatest players of the season. It’s especially in one category, the Russian superstar dominates – The clutches.
