CS:GO pros answer which player is going to be the best player of 2021
Each year HLTV.org crowns the best player of the year and awards the winning player with a much-respected title. Last year the award of the best player of 2020 went to the French superstar Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut, however, previously it has been the Ukrainian god Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev who has taken home the title. Once again it seems to be the two names in the contention for the 2021 award, at least for the majority of people within the scene.
The Brazilian MIBR player Gustavo "yel" Knittel points toward another potential candidate when asked about the upcoming best player of 2021:
"I think one that is ahead of everyone right now is sh1ro. I think he is going to be the top one this year." He carries on by saying: "He is a really really good AWP'er and he has a lot of impact. As everybody can see Gambit is shining. For me, they are the best team right now and a grand part of it is because sh1ro is playing great Counter-Strike."
