The 2022 season is yet to have begun for the majority of the top-tier professional CS:GO rosters. Whilst we wait for the exciting brawls of 2022 to kick-off, let's reminisce of some of the magical moments produced in previous iconic matchups. One that seemed to catch everybody's attention was the Grand Final of IEM Sydney back in 2018, and for good reason. A starstudded FaZe roster was set to lock horns with the scarily good Astralis roster of 2018.
The first map of the Bo5-series format in the Grand Final of IEM Sydney 2018 was picked by FaZe and took place on Cache. The map is no longer in the official map pool but has produced some of the most thrilling games and crazy highlights in CS:GO history. Whilst people have come to accept the removal of Cache and its placeholder Vertigo, it is always a pleasure to look back at some of the thrilling moments that took place on the Ukraine-based map.
