Red Bull FLICK 2v2 tournament returns in Helsinki
The prize pool has been announced and is going to be $58,700 at the 2v2 event in Helsinki.
The event is going to return after last year's success, where the German duo Elias “s1n” Stein and Tom”skyye” Hagedorn won the vent and the $20,000 cash prize there were at last year's event.
Red Bull FLICK 2v2 Tournament is scheduled to be played from November 19th to November 21 where the winner will be announced.
The organization behind the event has named Nikola “NiKo” Kovac as the official brand ambassador, he will be expected to be the commentator of the games and be the expert insight on the best plays of the tournament.
ENCE, Cloud9, OG, G2, FURIA, and BIG have all received direct invites to the Helsinki invitational and will have to choose two team members to compete. Unfortunately, we probably won’t be seeing the Kovac cousins playing together, because NiKo is the brand ambassador and therefore probably won’t be allowed to compete in the tournament.
