Outsiders is the first team to make it to the semifinals!

The first playoff game at the IEM Rio Major 2022 is set and over. Ousiders took on the mixed team Fnatic in a Bo3 match. The winner goes to the semi-finals, and the loser is eliminated.

The first map in the Bo3 game was inferno which was the map picked by Fnatic. Outsiders game out winning the first pistol round which helped them to go up 2-0 from the very start. Despite Fnatic came back to take the lead 3-4, Outsiders were too strong on the buy rounds as they took the first half 10-5. Jame and fame played some great cs on the ct side as they both had a K-D Diff +11 going into the second half. Fnatic came out firing at the start of the second half, and the mixed team even managed to close the cap by winning five rounds in a row to make the game 10-10. Even though Fnatic played well on the CT side, Outsiders came out strongest as they took the win 16-11.

Next up was Mirage. Fnatic started the second map in great fashion, converting the pistol into a 2-0 lead. FL1T and co. wanted the game to go in a different direction as they took 6 rounds in a row on the T side to make the score line 6-2 in favor of the Russian team. On the weaker T side of Mirage, Outsiders managed to get nine rounds to close out the first half. The second half was all outsiders finding the right stacks and anti-strats. FL1T was the man to lead Outsiders to victory and a spot at the semi Finals where they will be facing either MOUZ or Cloud9.
