Natus Vincere sends Outsiders out of IEM Katowice

Natus Vincere took upon Outsiders in the quarterfinals of IEM Katowice 2023.

Starting the series off on Overpass Natus Vincere came out pressing the speeder gaining themselves an 8-3 lead on the favored CT side. However, with Jame and KaiR0N- performing well, the Russians from Outsiders fought their way back to get six rounds on the weaker T side. The first half ended 9-6 in favor of NAVI. Outsiders came out best in the second half as they took advantage of their pistol-round win. With six out of the last seven going in favor of the Russians, the scoreline was suddenly 12-10. Despite the comeback from Outsiders was Natus Vincere the team to take map one after eight rounds with total domination from s1mple. s1mple and co. took map one 16-13.

Switching over to Inferno Natus Vincere came off to a bad start as Jame and FL1T played some impressive CS on the T side. A 5-1 lead in favor of Outsiders quickly became an 8-7 scoreline as the Ukanien-majority roster came back and secured themselves seven rounds to still be competitive on map two. Outsiders found it hard to play on the CT side as they got controlled by their opponents in NAVI. An 9-4 socreline in the second half gave Natus Vincere the map win and a 2-0 victory over their rivals from Outsiders.
