Spirit Triumph Over MOUZ on Ancient in a donk Masterclass
The CIS team secured their place in the Grand Final of BetBoom Dacha 2024 after a nail-biting match against MOUZ.
Danil "donk" Kryshkovets has been in exceptional form at the 2024 BetBoom Dacha in Serbia. As the defending champions, Team Spirit will have another shot at the title after winning the upper bracket final against MOUZ.
The series was a thrilling contest, with Spirit emerging victorious in a 2-1 battle across three maps: Nuke (13-9), Mirage (14-16), and Ancient (13-11).
On the final map, Ancient, the tournament’s standout player, Danil "donk" Kryshkovets, delivered a stellar performance to secure his team’s spot in the Grand Final. The young Russian prodigy finished with a remarkable 25-15 K-D ratio and an impressive 122.5 ADR, cementing his place as a key player in Spirit's victory.
However, this might not be the last we see of these two teams facing off. MOUZ remains the strong favorite to advance to the final, as they are set to play the winner of the Eternal Fire vs. paiN match in the Consolidation Final later today.
Danil "donk" Kryshkovets currently leads the tournament's player rankings with an astounding 1.55 rating. His closest challenger is his teammate, Dmitriy "sh1ro" Sokolov, who has maintained a solid 1.35 rating across the seven maps that Spirit has played in Belgrade, Serbia.
With $250,000 on the line, the Grand Final promises to be an exciting conclusion to the tournament. The match is scheduled for Sunday at 13:00 (CET).
