"oBo" officially released from Complexity Gaming
The young gun "oBo" is no longer associated with Complexity Gaming
Despite Owen "oBo" Schlatter not having played for Complexity for quite some time it is not until now that his contractual obligations with the organization have come to an end. This is confirmed in an official statement from the organization of Complexity Gaming regarding the topic.
At a young age of only 15-years-old, the American rifler joined Complexity under Benjamin "blameF" Bremer and helped catapult the roster into previously unfamiliar territory. Complexity managed a short stay in the top 5 of best teams in the world with "oBo" playing an important role in the rosters' success. However, with "oBo" wanting to return to the United States he was unable to practice and compete alongside his teammates and was removed from the official five-man roster.
The official release of "oBo" is by no means a surprise and will presumably not change anything in the Complexity roster as he has been inactive as a player for quite some time. Complexity signed star-rifler Justin "jks" Savage in 2020 as a replacement for "oBo" but have since had difficulty finding their previous form.
Whilst it is sad to see "oBo" leaving the organization it, hopefully, means that he can now continue his Counter-Strike career elsewhere. At an impressively young age of only 17 years, with experience from competing against some of the worlds' best teams, he is, without doubt, one of the most interesting free agents, that are currently waiting for a new home.
