The iconic CS:GO titans from G2 were once the rulers of the Counter-Strike world, with big titles at ESL Pro League Season 5, Esports Championships Series Season 1, and DreamHack Masters Malmö as clear proof of their excellence.

However, after their last win in 2017, G2 hasn’t managed to take home a S-Tier tournament, struggling to find a continually high level. Something, G2 captain Nemanja “nexa” Isakovic hopes he can change in the near future.

At the ongoing IEM Summer, nexa and his troops have stepped up huge and presented an impressive showing, already having sealed a semifinal spot in front of the likes of Astralis, Heroic, and Gambit. – It was also a very pleased Serbian in-game leader who spoke with the desk on Sunday.
