Confirmed: Cloud9 bench entire roster
In a dramatic turn of events, the Cloud9 project could be done and dusted in CS.
Updated with an official statement from Cloud9.
In September 2020, Cloud9 signed Henry "HenryG" Greer as their new General Manager. The new GM was appointed to create a new legacy for the Cloud9 Organization, which had struggled to make the same impact as back in 2018 with the Major win in Boston.
Today the french website 1.pv.fr and Rush B Media reports, that the project is set to be shut down after a string of bad results.
On Rush B Media Cloud9 CEO Jack Etienne confirmed, that the rumors are true. The CEO cites the ongoing pandemic as the reason for the temporary departure from CS:GO. When the pandemic is over, the Organization plans on returning with a North American roster.
