m0NESY responds to criticism: I don't get nervous during big matches
In part two of our interview with Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov, the young Russian responds to the comments made by the NAVI coach, Andrii "B1ad3" Horodenskyi.
He is dubbed to be the next superstar of CS:GO by many of the established pros on the scene. The expectations for 16-year-old Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov are sky-high before he makes his debut on the Tier 1 stage later today with his new team G2.
But unlike most others, the coach of NAVI, Andrii "B1ad3" Horodenskyi has been more reserved in his expectations towards the young AWP'er.
- He is really nervous in important matches, the NAVI coach told Pley.gg before the transfer of m0NESY had been finalized from NAVI to G2. A statement that goes against the general attitude towards the youngster, who has been praised for both his mechanical skills and his game awareness.
We asked the young Russian to respond to the criticism when we sat down with m0NESY before the start of BLAST Premier Spring Groups.
- It is not true. I don't feel nervous before the big events. Maybe B1ad3 is just trying to pressure me before the events, Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov responded.
You can see part 2 of our interview with Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov down below, where he also talks about the transfer to G2, and how he uses "haters" as fuel and motivation.
