Since the arrival of YEKINDAR the North American team has become a part of the world's elite. During the last tournament of the year, Team Liquid got second place at BLAST Worlds Finals beating OG on their way to the Final. OG, on the other hand, is known for playing great CS at BLAST tournaments, most recently the mixed European team took victories over Heroic and Vitality at BLAST Worlds Finals.
The last time these two teams played each other was Team Liquid the team to advance to the Final after a solid performance from nitr0 and co. who managed to take down OG 2-1.
