Liquid moves past EXTREMUM in the cs_summit upper bracket
EXTREMUM will have a chance at redemption in the lower bracket against the loser of Extra Salt and FURIA in Wednesday´s upper bracket semi-final.
Liquid will have to met paiN on Thursday at 02:30, after their 2-1 win against EXTREMUM.
The North American roster looked like a new side, as they played their first map against EXTREMUM, but couldn’t hold momentum on the second map on Mirage. Therefore, a third map was needed as a decider, and Liquid ended up winning on Vertigo securing their spot in the upper bracket semi-final against paiN.
In the other upper-bracket semi-final, we have Extra Salt against FURIA, with FURIA as favorites to move on to the upper bracket final, following their impressive 2-0 win against O PLANO, but you can never write off Extra Salt with a player like oSee in his form lately, with a fantastic rating of 1.28 in the last three months.
Extra Salt won the last time the two-team met with 2-1, in an exciting game, and Liquid will hunger after revenge of the loss two days ago at the cs_summit 8.
