Liquid ease past Brazilians at IEM Global Challenge
Twistzz was back to his old antics, in the elimination match against FURIA this evening.
The decider match at Group B between Liquid and FURIA looked on paper like a close and exciting matchup. However, the result was quite the opposite and the action failed to appear, in a highly one-sided affair.
It was Liquid who was in control for the majority of the match, with FURIA looking like a team being incohesive, with each player fighting on their own. The Brazilians didn’t manage to counter Liquid’s slow-paced CS, and the North American team could with ease secure the series through two strong performances on Overpass (16-14) and Inferno (16-3).
