"Kjaerbye" benched by Faze and replaced by "Twistzz"
The new signing of "Twistzz" means that "Kjaerbye" is now placed on the bench
Today Faze have announced their new signing in Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken. It had been rumored for quite some time but is now officially confirmed by the organization. You can read more about the new signing of "Twistzz" here:

The signing of "Twistzz", however, meant that a player from the existing Faze roster would be replaced, if not wanting to compete with a six-man roster. Faze decided against a six-man roster, which ultimately led to Danish Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye's current situation. The 22-year-old rifler has been benched and will, presumably, not partake in the upcoming BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2021 event.
The 22-year-old Dane has expressed his opinion in regards to him being benched by the organization and is, to nobody's surprise, unhappy with how his time at Faze panned out.
After leaving Astralis in January 2018 to join North, "Kjaerbye" had a rough time reaching the individual level that was predicted for the young talent. When joining Faze in August 2020, however, he was presented with a new opportunity to prove himself at a top-tier level of Counter-Strike. Due to slumps in performance, both individually and as a team, "Kjaerbye" never really got the chance to be a constant in the Faze roster, and is presumably why he was the one to be replaced by "Twistzz".
Despite his current situation, "Kjaerbye" seems fairly optimistic and is, without doubt, one of the more exciting names to possibly find a new organization to compete under.
