North is a Danish esports organization created by Nordisk Film and the Danish football club FC Copenhagen. The journey of the nearly newly created organization began in 2017. One of North’s benefits of being an esports organization under a football club is that they got their headquarters at the stadium called Telia Parken. The organization is also known for having strong teams in FIFA and apex Legends and is always scouting for new talented players. In the first tournament North joined, they managed to get to the finals of ESL Pro League Season 5 and earn a second-place after losing to G2. Later on, in that year the same happened, North got to the finals of Dreamhack Masters Malmo 2017 and got defeated by the same G2. In the next Dreamhack tournament in Dreamhack Open Montreal 2017, North finally got to win the first place after defeating Immortals in the final round. The team had a little download at the fourth tournament at ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2017, but quickly bounced back and won three in a row: Dream Hack Open Tours 2018, Dreamhack Open Valencia 2018, and Dreamhack Master Stockholm 2018 were North defeated Astralis. North also won the GG.Bet Ice Challenge over Navi in the final round.
North’s has shown good potential and the roster is feared by other teams with only just a couple of years on the CS scene. In 2019 North changed their whole branding with a new logo representing a Nordic impression, with hopes for more success in the future.
