Jame and co. overcome ENCE in Rotterdam Grand Final
Petr “fame” Bolyshev helped his team secure a guaranteed spot in the ESL Pro League S17 Conference event.
On Sunday, Outsiders took home the ESL Challenger Rotterdam trophy and a $50.000 paycheck after taking down ENCE in the grand final with a 2-0 scoreline by winning Dust2 (16-8) and Vertigo (16-14). The Russian side also got a guaranteed spot in the ESL Pro League Season 17 Conference that will have a total of 16 teams competing. The date for the event is yet to be announced.
Outsiders’ way to the title wasn’t a walk in the park as the team faced resistance in the group stage, losing an intense 14-16 game to ENCE before they went on to beat Fluxo in two very close games. However, their playoff run at the event was a bit different, as the team thrived and took down MOUZ and ENCE to lift the trophy. Petr “fame” Bolyshev played a big role in the team’s victory, stepping up in the final with a 1.30 rating to help his team secure their second ESL Challenger trophy of the year.
ENCE, on the other hand, saw their dreams of a grand final win once again getting crushed, now for the third time of the year. The Rio Major Legends stage which begins November 5 will be ENCE’s focus from now on.
