Is Twistzz finally becoming the star player FaZe need?
Twistzz is starting to show something quite special in his play
FaZe has experienced difficulties with regaining their position at the top of the rankings since rebuilding their line-up. There is no doubt that the addition of Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken was an attempt to bring in a new star player for the FaZe roster. Whether it be due to "Twistzz" personal performances or the entire team falling behind their opposition it has been clear that the results have not matched the intention, however, FaZe and especially "Twistzz" are now beginning to show signs of them regaining their old status as one of the best teams within the Counter-Strike scene.
We are now back at LAN with the IEM Cologne 2021 event at FaZe has looked a different beast than what we have seen from them in quite some time. One of the reasons for FaZe's success insofar at the event can be said to be because of Canadian superstar "Twistzz". It seems as if he is finally beginning to find his place on the FaZe roster and is producing big numbers and impact due to the space he is given within the roster.
"Twistzz" is starting to show and produce the level of play that made him interesting for FaZe in the first place. With crisp and clean aim he is, without any doubt, one of the best aimers to have ever played CS:GO. Known for his ability to get headshots he is one scary beast once unleashed and is going to have to be the determining factor in FaZe's climb back up the ladder of success.
Whether or not FaZe and "Twistzz" will be able to continue their level of performance throughout the event is still unsure. One thing that is for sure, however, is that if "Twistzz" is feeling himself he can take down even the toughest of opponents with a simple click of his mouse. FaZe are currently battling against "ZywOo" and the Vitality roster for survival at the event - you can watch the Bo3-series live right here:
