Hobbit: We will do everything in our power to dethrone NAVI next year
After the conclusion of BLAST World Final, we got ourselves a chat with the Gambit veteran about next year.
Last week the Russian youngsters from Gambit suffered a tough defeat to NAVI in the Grand Final at BLAST Premier World Final. The title-decider ended up being a great telling and illustration of the current CS:GO landscape, where it just seems like s1mple and the rest of NAVI are levels above the rest.
However, that’s a reality Gambit’s Abay "Hobbit" Hasenov will break going into next year’s season. We managed to get an interview with the former Major winner right after the Grand Final, where he outlined their expectations for next year.
- We still need some experience, but I think we are improving – everyone can see that we are stepping forward every tournament doing better and better.
(…) Of course, I’m very proud of this year. These four guys (Gambit teammates) are really talented. I mean they are living CS and thinking every minute about CS. We also have a good organization behind us, we have the best coach in the world, we have an analyst and manager who are really supporting us. I think we have everything to win, we just need some time. (…) We will do everything that we can to take down NAVI next year.
