HenryG leaves Cloud9: It's truly a shame how things panned out
The renowned CS:GO analyst, caster, and now former General Manager has parted ways with the iconic organization.
Henry “HenryG” Greer has officially parted ways with the North American organization Cloud9, the 32-year old GM announces on Twitter. The parting is a clear consequence of the NA org's decision to put their CS:GO team on hold, owing to COVID-19 and a series of disappointing results.

- It's truly a shame how things panned out with a lot of mitigating circumstances but plenty of positive memories, too. - HenryG states on Twitter.
HenryG was acquired back in September 2020 as Cloud9’s new General Manager, with the goals and expectations to conquer the CS:GO world with the newly established “Colossus” roster, consisting of the likes of Alex “ALEX” McMeekin, Özgur “woxic”, and Patrick “es3tag” Hansen.
The great results and the impressive achievements failed to appear for the European roster, which ended in several poor or mediocre campaigns at events like Flashpoint 2, cs_summit 7, Snow Sweet Snow 2, DreamHack Masters Spring Qualifier.

- While the space is in this strange transition period I have decided to take a sabbatical and enjoy some of the normality that life has to offer. It's certainly been a while. I will be back eventually when the right opportunity arises. - HenryG on Twitter.
