Gambit dominated Complexity out of the server!
The Russian-side has made it to the playoffs after two convincingly map wins against Complexity in the upper bracket semi-final.
Gambit looked unstoppable and played great Counter-Strike in the match-up against the international squad from Complexity. The Russian team won 2-0 on Train (16-5) and Mirage (16-5) to secure a playoff spot in the DreamHack Masters Winter event.
The Russian-side which was invested in and built from the ground up has definitely proven their worth on the scene and that they can compete with the best teams without getting uncomfortable.
Not a single player from Gambit disappointed today, as all delivered a rating over 1.00 while the Complexity squad didn’t have a single rating over 0.90. Timofey “interz” Yakushin ended up being the top player on the server with a rating of 1.55, 89.1 ADR, and a 41-20 score. It’s worth mentioning his teammate Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov who finished right under with a rating of 1.54, 91.2 ADR, and a 36-17 score.
Gambit will look forward to competing in the playoffs while Complexity has to fight it out in the lower bracket semi-final against FaZe on Thursday at 13:00 (CEST).
