G2 speedruns NAVI and qualifies for semi-finals
NiKo and co. looks destined for glory in Poland.
The resurgence of G2 continues in Katowice, where the roster had absolutely no issues taking down the former number one team in the world, NAVI. G2 won the match after two excellent CT sides on Inferno and Nuke where especially Ilya 'm0NESY' Osipov played lights out.
The Russian AWPer was the highest rated player on both maps and had a 13-0 K-D against s1mple throughout the match! A very impressive stat from the youngster who had good help from the usual suspects in NiKo and jks, who has been on fire in Katowice.
G2 can now rest and be ready for Saturday’s semi-final, where they will face the winner of Liquid vs Team Vitality.
NAVI is still in the tournament, but will have to go through the quarter-finals on Friday against the winner of Outsiders and Complexity.
