G2 power through Vitality 2-0 in ESL Pro League
nexa’s troops are now on top of the Group B following their victory over the Frenchmen from Vitality.
G2 took home their second victory in the prominent event after dominating Vitality 2-0. NiKo lead the charge for G2 as he finished on top of the scoreboard with a 1.44 Rating and got 46 frags in total to help his team secure the series.
Vitality got off to a flying start on the series by finishing the first half 10-5 on G2’s map pick of Mirage. But as the teams switched sides, Vitality were immediately met by a fierce attack from G2, who went to close out the map 16-10 on a perfect CT-side, not allowing the Frenchmen to grab a single round.
G2 carried on the form from a dominant CT-side on Mirage to Vertigo, where they now took a 10-5 lead before switching sides. NiKo and company didn’t slow down the pace, but instead stormed through Vitality’s defense to close out the map 16-6 and wrap up the series 2-0 in a dominant manner.
