G2 captain: I wanted to remove JaCkz
nexa opens up about the decision to release the loyal servant back in December last year.
In October last year, G2 signed the Bosnian superstar Nikola “NiKo” Kovac from FaZe back in a blockbuster deal. The acquisition of the lethal rifler meant that G2 had to demote or release a current roster member, which quickly was presented as a battle between François "AmaNEk" Delaunay and Audric "JaCkz" Jug.
A battle, the experienced JaCkz lost after a month of trials regarding different roster combinations and resulted in his benching and release from the active roster in December.

The in-game leader on G2, Nemanja "nexa" Isaković has touched on the decision HLTV Confirmed, where the Serbian captain opened up about his perception of the situation but also about the decision making and reasoning behind JaCkz's benching.
In the interview, the 23-year old G2 player also explains how they didn't believe that a 6-man roster was the right thing to do, even though being a trend in CS:GO
“G2 as an organization never considered having a 6-man roster and to pay a guy to basically sit on the bench. That was never an option”
