G2 took down the North American squad from Evil Geniuses in tonight’s lower semi-final matchup at IEM Katowice and secured themselves a spot in the Lower final where they are set to face off against Gambit for playoffs.

AmaNEk was highlighted as the reason for G2’s victory on Dust2, as he basically closed out the map with an insane play on map point to deny EG to take the game into overtime.
Besides nexa’s view on the match, the Serbian IGL praised his teammate for the play, saying he performs really well in tight situations.
