G2 buys Russian mega talent from NAVI

After months of speculations about his future Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov has been transferred to G2.

16-year-old Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov has been the subject of endless transfer rumors since his impressive display for NAVI Juniors in the WePlay Academy League. Now the future of the young Russian has been revealed.

The owner of G2, Carlos "ocelote" Rodríguez Santiago made the announcement on his Twitter profile today.

With the transfer G2 now has six players on the roster with no indication yet, who will be moved to the bench.

On NAVI's homepage, the now-former NAVI Junior player Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov thanked the team and the fans for their support during the last year.

- Last year was extremely productive for our region and for me. I want to thank the fans for their tremendous support. It helped me a lot all the way to NAVI Junior.
