French legend leaves Vitality after BLAST Spring Showdown
"Le Tank" will no longer represent the French top team, after having served for nearly 2,5 years.
The legendary rifler Cédric "RpK" Guipouy will soon be history within the superstar team of Vitality, as the Frenchmen announce his exit from the active roster. The 31-year old player has been a vital and influential individual in the team but also in the French scene in general.
Vitality head coach, Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam mourns about the decision but he believes that Vitality needs a "new pace" on the roster.
- It’s one of these tough decisions that we have to make. Cedric (RpK) is an example of an achiever, consistent and inspiring player. The team is facing some difficulties and we need to find a new pace.
It’s never easy to let a legendary, inspiring, and consistent player such as RpK step back from competition, and we’ll do everything we can do to support him in what’s yet to come.
