FaZe and karrigan off to perfect start at PGL Major
The experienced FaZe took care of Spirit in the opening round.
FaZe entered the PGL Major as the lowest-seeded team among the 16 teams in the Challenger group stage. But against Team Spirit, it was FaZe, that came out on top in the first matchup at PGL Stockholm Major 2021.
On Overpass it was the Danish in-game leader Finn 'karrigan' Andersen who stole the spotlight with an impressive start to the match. The oldest player at the tournament orchestrated a good beginning to the match on the offense with a quick 7-3 lead. Later on, it was FaZe's Major-rookie Helvijs "broky" Saukants, who took the responsibility with his AWP to help his team towards a fine start to the PGL Major. FaZe won 16-10 and looks like a team, that you will need to keep an eye on.
Both teams will play another match later today.
Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken finished off Team Spirit with a nice 4k!
