FaZe Clan push Complexity to the Showdown
karrigan’s troops have qualified for the BLAST Fall Finals with a victory over Complexity.
FaZe Clan have secured their spot in BLAST Fall Finals in Royal Arena, following a 2-1 victory against Complexity. karrigan’s troops will now face Natus Vincere later today at 20:30 (CET) to decide the final placements of Group C.
The action started on FaZe’s pick of Dust2, where karrigan’s troops got a good start by winning the first three rounds on the attacking side. But things changed when Complexity upgraded their gear as they went on to close the half 9-6 in their favor. Complexity quickly extended their lead, stringing five rounds together to go up 14-7 on the scoreboard. When it seemed like Complexity were going to steal away FaZe’s map pick, karrigan’s troops came back from the dead and turned things around. coldzera and company lost control of the game, while FaZe went on a fantastic run, securing nine consecutive rounds in a row to complete the huge comeback, 16-14.
With the series 1-0 to FaZe, Complexity looked to tie up the series on Nuke, a map where FaZe haven’t managed to come out on top in the last five times they have played it. And they didn’t this time either as Complexity closed out the map 16-7 in the end. Complexity’s offense was just too strong for FaZe who hardly got four rounds on the scoreboard in the first half.
FaZe Clan got their revenge on Ancient and made Counter-Strike history as they delivered the first ever 16-0 on the map. The kings of the jungle made it impossible for Complexity to grab even a single round, which is quite impressive. FaZe’s olofmeister finished on top of the scoreboard with a 2.19 Rating and 128.5 ADR.
