FalleN and co. send Finest to Group B’s elimination series
Imperial kick off their Pinnacle Cup campaign with a victory over Finest.
The Brazilians from Imperial handed Finest a 12-16 defeat on Dust2 in Group B’s second match of the day. With the victory, FalleN and company are now through to Group B’s winners’ match where they will be taking upon Astralis on Thursday at 11:00 (CET) for a spot in the upper bracket of playoffs. Meanwhile, Finest will be playing for their tournament lives today at 17:00 (CET) against the former Party Astronauts roster, who is now a part of Evil Geniuses' 15-man pool. If Finest wants to play in front of their home crowd in the playoffs they will have to beat EG.PA as well as the loser of Imperial vs. Astralis.
The Professor, better known as FalleN, truly put up a vintage performance in the Bo1 match against Finest as he finished on top of the scoreboard with a 1.47 Rating and 29 kills.
