Exciting lower bracket final in IEM Beijing-Haidian Qualifer awaits
Both North and Endpoint came back from a 0-1 start to beat their respective opponents.
In the first matchup, Illuminar played against the heavy favourites in North. It was in fact Illuminar who started out best with an impressive showing on their own map pick on Train. The Polish side produced a strong T-sided first half setting the score at 10-5 at the switch. Illuminar continued the strong level of play and closed the map 16-13 score through a strong performance of the former Major winner Snax who had a 25-16 k/d and a striking 1.45 rating.
It was a completely different North team who showed up to play on the second map of Vertigo. They crushed the Polish side winning 15 rounds in a row to conclude the map in quick fashion with a 16-5 score. And after that did North not look back at one time. The Danish team dominated Illuminar on Nuke beating them 16-3.
In the other semi-final, Endpoint defeated K23 in a very close game. Endpoint’s young Israeli player Shahar “flameZ” Shushan was playing out of his mind helping Endpoint sealing the important 2-1 victory.
