EliGE: "NAF" is the smartest player in CS
The American Liquid player points toward his Canadian teammate as the smartest pro in CS
Being smart in a game like Counter-Strike Global Offensive can be interpreted as a multitude of things. The first thing that springs to mind is probably the many brilliant in-game leaders who are capable of defeating their opponents strategically. When asked in an interview the American Liquid player Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, however, did not point towards an in-game leader, but instead his teammate Keith "NAF" Markovic.
"The smartest player in CS for me is NAF, my teammate, I think that he is actually really really smart. He is a player that can learn everything from intuition. He is really different from me actually. Where I like to go through a whole decision process and try to map out the best reactions I have available to me. NAF is a player that would rather do it in the moment and just see whatever is applicable to him and most of the time he is completely right."
