Complexity starts strong at Pro League
The Juggernaut cleaned out newcomers from FunPlus Phoenix.
At ESL Pro League Season 13 the first match of the tournament ended with a clear 2-0 win for Complexity. The match showcased, that Complexity’s AWP’er, Valentin “poizon” Vasilev is back at full force after his operation.
The Bulgarian sniper was the best player on Nuke, where Complexity was dominant throughout the map leaving very few chances for FPX to gain any momentum.
Having lost their own map pick with 16-6, there was little hope for FunPlus Phoenix to turn the match around. The old GODSENT roster kept track with their opponents during the first half, but after the break, they lost momentum. It did not help, that blameF destroyed them during the pistol round with a crisp 4k.
Complexity won Dust2 convincingly 16-10 and looks like a team that is on their way back into the top of CS:GO once again.
FunPlus Phoenix - Complexity 0-2 (6-16, 10-16)
MVP: Valentin “poizon” Vasilev - 1.42 rating / 44-27 K-D / 94.9 ADR
Both teams play tomorrow again at ESL Pro League Season 13.
