Complexity defeat MIBR in BLAST Showdown
blameF and company are now through to the Quarter-finals of the tournament.
Complexity have eliminated MIBR from the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown, following a 2-1 victory in the Round of 16. blameF and company will take upon the winner of OG vs paiN in the Quarter-finals next.
The Brazilians had never won a competitive match on Ancient before today, but against Complexity they looked solid as ever on the new map. Raphael “exit” Lacerda made the difference for MIBR with a +13 K-D leading his team to a 16-11 victory on the map.
Complexity looked much better on Nuke where they started out with a strong offense, making things complicated for MIBR on the defensive side. blameF and company ended the first half with 8-7 advantage before closing out the map 16-12 in the second half, thanks in part to some stellar fragging from Complexity’s jks.
MIBR were off to a poor start on the decider of Overpass, where Complexity quickly took an early 5-0 lead on the T side. This early lead from Complexity didn’t phase MIBR however, and the Brazilians climbed back on the scoreboard, taking a 8-5 lead before Complexity managed to grab the last two rounds of the half. The second half saw clear domination from the Complexity squad who ran away with a 16-9 victory, only allowing MIBR to take a single round before wrapping up the series.
