Cloud9 set to take on CPH Flames in the opening round
Cloud9 is the clear favorite to win the BLAST premier Spring Showdown 2023 Europe.
The BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2023 Europe is set to kick off on March 29th, 2023, and will run until April 2nd. The tournament will feature eight top CS:GO teams from around the world, all trying their best for a share of the $67,500 prize pool and securing a spot at the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023.
Cloud9 will be taking on CPH Flames in their opening match at the tournament. Cloud9, who in recent months has been playing some of their best Counter-Strike for years, made it all the way to the Grand Final of ESL Pro League Season 17 this weekend. This time they'll be looking to make a statement in the opening round, but CPH Flames will be no easy opponent. The Danish team has been looking solid in the Pelaajat Nordic Masters where they managed to take down the Sprout, Prosapia, and ECSTATIC.
Going into the tournament, there is no doubt that Cloud9 is the clear favorite to win the tournament and take the last remaining spot at BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023. However, there are some tough opponents to be played if they want to go all the way and qualify for the Spring Final in Washington D.C.
