Cloud9 GM: Today was simply unacceptable
Cloud9 crashed out of Snow Sweet Snow 2 after a defeat to Winstrike.
The loss underlined the bad start to 2021 that the new Cloud9 roster has suffered.
Early exits from cs_summit 7, IEM Katowice, DreamHack Masters Spring closed qualifiers and now Snow Sweet Snow 2 has brought forward heavy criticism online. The GM of Cloud9 reacted to the defeat on Twitter.
Henry "HenryG" Greer further explained, that he was taking full responsibility, but that he still wanted to give some insight as to why the roster might not perform at their best yet.
- I think it's clear we need to get a boot camp under our belt so the players can actually meet Xeppaa and their new coach. These conditions suck to really problem-solve effectively, the GM writes on Twitter.
Cloud9 now has a week to prepare for the next event. They will play again at ESL Pro League Season 13.
