Cloud9 eliminated from Snow Sweet Snow 2
The "Colossus" was seeded into the Quarter-Finals but crashed out immediately to Winstrike.
The disastrous start to 2021 for the new Cloud9 roster continued this evening with a defeat at Snow Sweet Snow 2 to the Russian roster from Winstrike.
Both teams lost their map pick 16-10, which left Dust2 as the decider. Here Winstrike proved too strong for Cloud9 to match. Again it was evident, that the self-proclaimed "Colossus" lacks a designated AWP'er among their players. Patrick 'es3tag' Hansen's firepower is missing when he has to be the stand-in sniper for the team. His performance against Winstrike was once again way below his standards.
Winstrike took home Dust2 with 16-10 and is now ready for the Semi-Finals at Snow Sweet Snow 2. Here they will face HAVU from Finland. Cloud9's next fixture is the 19th of March against Natus Vincere in ESL Pro League Season 13.
