CIS and Oceania RMR-event announced

NAVI, Gambit, and Virtus.pro are among the competitors at the tournament.

CIS teams will compete in the EPIC League to earn RMR-points for the Stockholm Major. The tournament was announced today on Twitter.

* The Regional Major Rankings (RMR) is the point-based qualification system that was implemented to determine the invites for Valve's Majors. Teams earn points towards the RMR through various competitions that will be held in the months leading up to the Major.

Gambit, NAVI, Team Spirit, Virtus.pro, Trident, forZe, Nemiga and EPG Familiy (Ex-Winstrike) has been invited, while there will be eight teams who can qualify for the CIS event, that will be held from 8th of May until the end of the month.

The Oceania event will begin the 23rd of May and last a week.

The prizepool will be $40.000 for the CIS event, while there will be $10.000 up for grabs in the Oceania event.
