ALEX on Cloud9 chemistry: It is going to take a while
Cloud9 IGL admits that finding the right chemistry among the players can take time.
Alex “ALEX” McMeekin has spoken with HLTV.org in an interview regarding Cloud9’ campaign in Flashpoint 2 and how things are situated in the newly established team.
Watch the very first round of the new Colossus, featuring a sneaky knife kill from ALEX himself.
ALEX explains how good chemistry and communication are key factors for Cloud9 and their potential success and are something they will work on, however, the IGL admits that it could take a while to achieve.
“It is obviously going to take a lot more time if we are not playing officials. … Time isn't an excuse and we want to be performing as fast as possible on a high level, but it is always going to take a necessary amount of time to get to know each other and perform. In practice, everything is going well, we are developing nicely from a game point of view, it is just the chemistry and the 2vX situations that we have been losing. If we had won those in Flashpoint we would have won maps at least.”
