Whilst many may think that Dust 2 is the most played map in the history of CS:GO, thanks to its legendary status, it isn't. The most played map between teams in the top 30 is instead Mirage. According to HLTV's statistics, Mirage has been played a total of 3274 times between teams in the top 30. Known for its open spaces and creative possibilities, Mirage is a map that heavily favors mechanically-skilled players - players like "NiKo".
The Bosnian superstar of G2 is by no means a stranger to the map of Mirage. Having played Mirage against opponents in the top 30 a total of 281 times, to say that he has been tried and tested on the sandy map would be an understatement. Not only is "NiKo" one of the most experienced players on Mirage. Throughout the years he has managed to average an impressive rating of 1.17 on the map and is currently the third-best Mirage player against opponents of a high caliber. The only two topping him are "s1mple" and "ZywOo".
