Twistzz: Upcoming events will definitely be a challenge as well as a learning experience
We have talked with the FaZe superstar about his expectations before his debut at BLAST Premier Spring Groups.
The newly signed FaZe player Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken will get his official debut this Friday, when he and FaZe commence their campaign at the vital BLAST Premier Spring Groups. An event, the Canadian rifler sees as a great learning experience for him and his new team.
In an interview with Pley.gg, Twistzz has touched on his start on FaZe and what he expects from the first couple of events.
“From our first prac day till now it's been super fun to play, that's all I can say for now.
Our upcoming events will definitely be a challenge as well as a learning experience but I think we're all prepared to grind through it. I see ourselves as contenders.”
Twistzz continues by explaining what this new opportunity has meant for him, which clearly has created and renewed tons of motivation and spirit form the former Liquid player.
“I'm given a fresh start with a new team and org. Having a new scenery and environment to play in has brought the joy of Counter-Strike back, when I wake up until the time I try to sleep, all I can think about is CS.
It's been a while since I felt this drive, to thrive and get to the top, I think this is going to be a very good year for myself and FaZe.” – Twistzz says.
Liquid will have to do without their former superstar rifler from now on
BLAST Premier Spring Groups will, as earlier mentioned be the first event for Twistzz at FaZe and therefore it stands as the first event in ages where he won’t compete wearing his former Liquid jersey and the iconic logo on his chest.
And the story couldn't have been scripted better, as Twistzz and FaZe off course will kick-off the event by meeting Liquid in the opening round of Group C. A matchup, which will provide some interesting answers.
