TeSeS: I'm hoping we don't get FURIA in the first round
The Brazilian panthers are not a team many wishes to go up against right now.
To go up against the home favourites from FURIA in front of 18.000 screaming Brazilians in the massive Jeunesse Arena is not something Heroic’s René “TeSeS” Madsen wishes to experience in the first round of playoffs at IEM Rio.
In a post-match interview after yesterday’s victory over Liquid, TeSeS spoke with us about the upcoming Champions Stage and how tough the competition is at the ongoing Major.
It’s so much up in the air who we’re going to meet. Every team is really good here. Like they have come so far for a reason, everyone is at their peak performance right now. Imagine FaZe going out 0-3 – that speaks something about the competition here.
There are of course some worse or better teams that we can meet, but we are not going to underestimate anyone. I’m just hoping that we don’t get FURIA in the first match at least.
You can watch the full interview with TeSeS down below.
TeSeS and the rest of Heroic will be in action again on Thursday when the playoff stage is set to kick off. Today will feature three thrilling Bo3 series to determine the last playoff attendees, where NAVI and Liquid are among the biggest names.
