sjuush: I feel like we can play all seven maps
Can Heroic live up to their expectations during the first tournament of the year as the world's number one?
Heroic has since December 17th been the world's number one on the HLTV World Ranking list. Heroic played well during the last four months of 2022 and has since then not been looking back. The Danish powerhouse has in recent months extended its contracts with all five players following their recent success.
sjuush and the rest of Heroic have been very happy with the decision of removing Dust2 to instead take in Anubis. With Dust2 being out of the way, the Heroic perm ban is nowhere to be seen. sjuush believes that with Dust2 out of the way their map pool is becoming significantly more substantial as they can now play all seven maps in the active map pool.
- It will give us a very big edge, yeah. There was no way we were going to play Dust2, and with that out of the way I feel like we can play all seven maps, sjuush says to HLTV.
We get to see sjuush and co. use their wide map pool today when Heroic takes on Evil Geniuses in their opening match at BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2023 at 15:00 (CET).
