Olof: I forgot how fun it is to compete
It was a happy and joyful olofmeister who talked with the desk after FaZe’s victory.
Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer were sidelined on a medical break for nearly half a year due to being fatigued. But when NiKo left FaZe, olofmeister decided to step in on FaZe’s active roster. And when asked by the desk following FaZe's victory against OG, what the future brings regarding his time at FaZe, olofmeister said this.
“Right now, I’m just focussed on these two events in Blast Premier Falls and this one. After that, I will have to figure it out, but right now I’m just focussed on this, trying to do my best and have so much fun as possible. I kind of forgot how fun it is to compete, but it’s been really, really fun and I like to play with these guys.”
Olofmeister also took his time to clarify the IGL situation on the team, saying that the whole team agrees to the role distribution, but how it sometimes gets difficult in-game.
”Cold is calling and everyone else is trying to help him, but must of the call are from Cold, and we try to let him speak a little bit more. I think on Dust2 when it got really close at the end, there were too many people talking too much instead of just letting Cold talk and it became a little bit chaotic, because Cold wanted to do something and then one guy says ‘do this instead’”
In the end, he was asked if he believed that French CS and Team Vitality is back at its peak, and olofmeister answered with a big smile “I hope not, I hope not”.
