NiKo: I was a bit surprised that we played so good

G2 won their first game with their new signing Nikola “NiKo” Kovac when they yesterday defeated Furia in a confident 2-0 victory.

The Bosnian superstar said in a post-game interview with the desk that he was a little surprised that they played so well on the second map of Nuke, because of the lack of practice they had on the map. Nonetheless, did G2 provide a stellar showing beating Furia 16-11

“Honestly, we only had one practice on Nuke in three days of practice, but we did our best to prepare for Furia. It was a bit surprising that we played so good, but that’s definitely a good sign”

NiKo explains that maLeK their coach, going into the match has prepared them perfectly and that was something that helped them to take down the Brazilians. NiKo further explains that a key factor was that he and the G2 were prepared for Furia and their aggressive style of play.

“We were outplaying them late rounds and we did not let them do the risky and aggressive plays”
